Meet the GRA Executive Committee 24-25

The Executive Committee embodies the mission of GRA—to advance youth-led advocacy, build a powerful network of SRHR champions, and create meaningful change in policies and programs affecting young people. While each member has distinct responsibilities, they share the overarching commitment to ensuring that GRA operates effectively, remains accountable to its members, and continues to amplify the voices of young advocates worldwide.

Dr. Serge Ndagijimana – Communications and Advocacy Lead

Organization: Medical Doctors For Choice (MDFC), Rwanda, MDFC is a youth-led organization founded by pro-choice healthcare providers advocating for comprehensive reproductive health services. MDFC advocates for reproductive rights and access to comprehensive reproductive health care, with a primary focus on safe abortion information and services.

Mersi Shehu – Partnership and Fundraising Lead

Organization: GUXO, Albania, a youth-led organization promoting human rights, democracy, gender equality, and youth participation in decision-making. Responsibilities to establish strategic collaborations that enhance GRA’s financial sustainability, expand its global reach, and ensure that GRA remains well-positioned to implement innovative programs that support youth-led SRHR advocacy efforts.

Dr. Naglaa Fathy & Dr. Amir Hawas – Coordinators and Membership Leads

Organization: Global Youth Ambassadors Team, Egypt
At the core of GRA’s strength is its diverse and engaged membership, and Dr. Naglaa Fathy and Dr. Amir Hawas lead the charge as Coordinators and Membership Leads. Representing the Global Youth Ambassadors Team in Egypt, an organization that focuses on creating an inclusive, representative, and well-coordinated network of youth advocates. Dedicated to reproductive health education, gender equality, peace-building, and youth empowerment through innovative tools and games. Their work ensures that GRA’s members remain engaged, connected, and actively contributing to the movement’s shared goals.


The GRA Executive Committee not only facilitates the operational success of the coalition but also inspires the next generation of young leaders to step forward, take action, and push for a future where youth-led advocacy drives real and lasting change in SRHR globally.
